A review of the Eastern Desert rock art. Some rock art sites mentioned in the text are not shown in tables or figures, thus the understanding of what the Author is describing is limited. Interesting but it is not a work that can be studied without the sites catalogues, sold with another publication.

A very extended review of the Egyptian geology from a stratigraphic perspective. Recommended.

An ever green classic. An essential reading to understand the spirituality of the African cattle herders, which inherited the culture of the cattle herders that roamed the Sahara during the Holocene humid phase.

A very elegant theory about art with some possible exciting applications to rock art studies. Recommended.
